Dilli nayee aur puraani ho gayi
Hyderabad bhi, khuchh naya, kuchh puraana hai.
Mumbai suburb aur town mein bant gayi
Aadmi ka dil bhala kya bach paaya hai?
Baantne se yaad aaya
ghar ki chhatt se
saamne ke makaan ka woh nazaara.
Aangan mein baithi maa
aur uske chaaron taraf baithe
chaar chhote bachche
nazar lagaaye hue
haath mein maa ke rakhe
ek seb ki taraf.
Bachcho ki khilkhilaahat ke shor mein
lalchaayi aankhon, aur zor ki bhook ke beech
seb bechaara, kya bantne se bach paaya hai?
Hyderabad ka yeh hissa
zaraa naya hai.
Lekin maa ka pyaar abhi bhi
utna hee puraana hai.

i like it for its simplicity.. choti choti baatein achi lagti hain.. yaad bhi reh jati hain.. hope you're enjoying Hyderabad.. :) should post some photos of in and around hyderabad.. would be cool..
